Monday, March 12, 2012 at 7:30AM Saturday Night I was invited to shoot a Fundraising Dinner to raise money for Eye Care for Kids, an organization dedicated to research and treatment of Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) which is a potentially blinding eye disorder that primarily affects premature infants weighing about 2¾ pounds (1250 grams) or less that are born before 31 weeks of gestation.
It was a FUN night of food, auction, music and dancing. I don't know exactly how much money was raised, but for a first year event it was very successful. There were well over 125 in attendance, and the auctions brought in several hundred dollars each, and one round of golf went for $1,000!!

Friday, January 20, 2012 at 3:08PM I just wanted to post a note here to alert my visitors to the reason for the lack of activity here on my Photography website.
My wife and I made the decision to adopt, and in the past year our family has grown by two. We have added two daughters to our household, 11 & 17.
I have intentionally taken fewer Photography jobs as my weekends and evenings have been dedicated to developing relationships with my new children. I am still working, just not as much, nor am I posting what I am doing here on the web.
My love for photography has not waned, only my activity here has...
I am not actively persuing new work, but if you are here and are interested, please contact me. I am still willing to work occassionally, I am just not posting as much of my work here trying to drive business.

Thursday, November 25, 2010 at 10:38PM This past weekend, I had the priviledge of shooting a beautiful young lady who attends the same church I do. Deborah is energetic, fun, and fun to hang out with. Her boyfriend Dave was with her so we shot a few with him as well.
Homestead Park was the location, and it is a fun location to shoot because of the many different background opportunities. The Blue Caboose was screaming for some High Contrast, High Saturation photo finishing. The surprise of the day was a Duck who decided he wanted to be part of our session...
